The album is a collaboration between two great talents: Gigi Machine, an Italian master who led the ambient scene in the '10s with his iconic new age/ambient revival work "WIND"; and Greg Foat, a composer, pianist and keyboard player, founder of the Greg Foat Group, a UK jazz collective. Two great talents have come together to release a collaborative album, recorded remotely between 2021 and 2022 and composed by both of them. As the album gradually developed and refined, the final recording session was held at Chale Abbey Studios on the Isle of Wight, England, with Moses Boyd (drums), Tom Herbert (bass), and Siobhan Cosgrove (flute, clarinet). ) participated in the project.Starting with the beautiful and majestic ambient "Lee," the album features the intoxicating "London Nights" with Greg's electronic piano melodies, "Sabena," a tribute to Gigi Machine's late wife, and the last track "Your Move," which tells a story of violent waves beneath a tranquil shoreline. The last track, "Your Move," is a majestic ambient jazz collaboration between the two talents.
