Andrea BACCHETTI, one of Italy's leading pianists in Genoa, gave a live concert at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa in 2015. The program is a diverse one, centered on his specialty, Bach, with masterpieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, and Debussy, interspersed with secret pieces by Villa-Lobos and Rossini, and lesser-known pieces by Maripiero, Hasse, and others. Andrea Bacchetti was born in Genoa, Italy in 1977, and emerged as a pianist early on, performing with I Solisti Veneti under the direction of Claudio Simone at the young age of 11. He has made numerous recordings, mainly for Sony Italy, and in 2014 Sony Classical released J.S. Bach's "Complete Recorded Cycle of Keyboard Works" and "French Suites (Complete)" and in May 2016 its third release, "Complete Piano Concertos" by J.S. Bach.His CD of Bach's Inventions and Sinfonias (DYNAMIC) was named "Discs of the Month" by BBC Music Magazine in April 2011, and his 2021 recording of J.S.
