Celebrating the 125th anniversary of its premiere, a new production will be staged in the spirit of that time! La bohème" by the Royal Opera House of TurinPuccini's masterpiece "La bohème" was first performed at the Royal Opera House of Turin on February 1, 1896. In 2021, 125 years after its premiere, a new production by Pablo Gavazzeni and Piero Marangi will be staged, with costumes and stage sets of the same design as in 1896. The costumes, in particular, were based on original sketches by Adolf Hohenstein (a poster painter active in Italy at the time). The conductor is Daniel Oren, a renowned opera conductor and highly regarded as a specialist especially in Italian opera.
