The anthology, entitled KING SCRATCH: MUSICAL MASTERPICES FROM THE UPSETTER ARK-IVE, is a collection of his early days (1968-1973) and his post-1973 work through his own studio, The Black Ark. It will be released in three formats: a luxury box set consisting of 4 LPs and 4 CDs, a 2-CD set containing selected tracks from the box set, and a 2-CD vinyl set.The gatefold 2-CD analog vinyl and 2-CD collection is a richly condensed version of the legendary music maker's most famous works from the 60s and 70s, focusing on songs and performances by some of Jamaica's musical giants. It is an anthology work. It also includes liner notes that examine how his talent and imagination took reggae to new heights.
