Description:
Yuka Ishimaru, a promising and talented organist who has studied in Europe, releases her debut album! She conquers Liszt's difficult pieces! Yuka Ishimaru, a promising organist, has released her debut CD. Yuka Ishimaru was born in Niigata City. She studied organ at the Royal Danish Academy of Music under Hans Fajus and clavichord at the University of Gothenburg under Joel Space Tra. In 2010, he won the first prize at the 22nd Chartres International Organ Competition. The following year, she began a concert tour of France and Germany and other European music festivals by invitation, giving recitals at Chartres Cathedral, Notre Dame de Paris, and the Madeleine Basilica, among others. In Japan, Ishimaru made a splash in 2014 when he accompanied the Orchestre de Lyon, conducted by Leonard Slatkin, on a tour of Japan. The highly anticipated album consists of works by Mendelssohn, whose Liszt is Ishimaru's specialty, as well as works by Bach, Rheinberger, and Brahms in Liszt's edition, which are important in the history of the organ, and includes only difficult pieces that will test his abilities as an organist. The organ used for the recording is a Buchholz organ from 1841, a historic instrument of St. Nikolai Church in Stralsund, Germany. The organ is a masterpiece of the Buchholz organ, a historical instrument of St. Nikolai's church in Stralsund, Germany, and it is used for the recording.Yuka Ishimaru, who has studied in Europe, will be a great success in the future. The booklet includes an extensive commentary by Michael G. Kaufmann (translated into Japanese by Yuriko Tanioka) ("Organ Works and Organ Building in the 19th Century," "Commentary on the Music," "About the Buchholz Organ of St. Nikolai Church").
