Divertimento Collection of the Talented Michael Haydn Michael Haydn was five years younger brother of Joseph Haydn. He was a close friend of Mozart's father and son, and Mozart himself was considerably influenced by Michael Haydn's music. For example, there are many stories that the work known as Mozart's Symphony No. 37 was added by Mozart to Michael Haydn's Symphony No. 25, and that Mozart's great masterpiece "Requiem" was modeled after Michael Haydn's masterpiece "Requiem", For this reason, Michael Haydn, like his older brother, has been highly acclaimed in recent years as a composer of extraordinary talent. The Divertimento by Michael Haydn is in chamber music form, consisting of one or two violins, viola, and cello, with English horn (cor anglais).It is an excellent work with a poetic and fresh style and a beautifully integrated melody that flows without hesitation. It is performed by the Piccolo Concerto Vienna led by Robert Sensi. Daniel Zepek, the conductor of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie, is also a member of this talented ensemble. King International
