The fifth installment of the series tracing the masterpieces associated with the Russian Ballet Company led by Diaghilev, the most famous entertainer of all time, features the latest recording of "The Three-Cornered Hat" by Fabrice Boron and "The Clown" Suite by Prokofiev with Karabits, both up-and-coming conductors from France and the Ukraine, who studied with Guillen and Arnoncourt at the Salzburg Mozarteum. Fabrice Boron, born in Paris in 1965, is a French conductor who studied with Guillen and Arnoncourt at the Salzburg Mozarteum.In the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons, he appeared with the orchestra, the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, the SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, and in the 2008/2009 season, he became Music Director of the Freiburg Opera, In the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons, she appeared with the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, the SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, and others. With Valencia-born soprano Sara, Farija's energetic conducting is truly spectacular. On the other hand, Kirill Karabits, born in Kiev in 1976, will perform Prokofiev's "Clown" Suite.Karabits, who has been a regular guest conductor with the Houston Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Orchestre de Bordeaux Aquitaine, will succeed Allsopp as the 13th Chief Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra beginning in the 2009/10 season. The highlight of the concert will be his boldly youthful sensitivity to Prokofiev's early masterpieces, which are known for their raucous sound and cutting-edge modernist style. ［Comment courtesy of King International.
