Organ prodigy Zustek's new disc features the scandalous "written improvisations" of his assistant, who has also wowed listeners with his superb technique in works by Stockhausen (WER.6736 / KKC.5302) and Ligeti (WER.6757 / KKC.5329), as well as in his Kágel collection. Dominik Zustek is a prodigy of the organ. The new disc is a collection of works by Káger. Káger is also an Argentine composer with a distinctive world view, who gives instructions such as "the player jumps into the timpani" and "the conductor collapses. The focus of this disc is the controversial "Written Improvisation," which was controversial at the time of its premiere. The work is a riot, with the organist as well as his two assistants coughing, chattering, laughing, blowing flutes and clapping their hands, and ranting loudly. The first performance of this work was scheduled to be given in a holy church, but was cancelled at the last minute because it was deemed inappropriate to perform such a work.Zustek and his two assistants embody the world of this work with full power. The following "Rrrrrrrrrrr..." is a collection of small pieces with strong characters, including various Indian "Raga" pieces. Zustek's virtuosity shines through. Zustek also improvises on this album. The sound world is so named after Kergel that it is hard to believe that it is played only on the organ. King International
