Two world premiere recordings are included. At the time, the mainstream of Latin American music was based on ethnic music, but Paz distinguished himself from this trend by absorbing Western musical trends of the time and integrating them into his compositions. He is said to be the first South American composer to use the "twelve-tone technique," one of the most popular musical language systems in Europe at the time. Influenced by the late Romanticism, the 12-tone technique of the New Viennese School, jazz, neoclassicism, and other contemporary music of the first half of the 20th century that was happening or brought into Europe, the fact that he wrote such works in a faraway country in the middle of the 20th century is the beginning of the "transnationalization of Western music" that continues to this day. This is the beginning of the "multinationalization of Western music" that continues to this day.This is a piece that gives a sense of the new era of culture, where cultural borders are gradually disappearing and the same culture is shared around the world.
