Description:
Newly recorded by Plamzoller! Berlin's unknown trio sonatas! Johannes Plamzoller is a baroque violinist of the "21st century generation" who has made his way from South Tyrol to the world. He is the leader of the Ensemble Diderot and the International Baroque Players, and a member of his teacher Rachel Podger's Brecon Baroque. This is a sequel to the famous "Dresden Album (ADX13701)", "Paris Album (ADX13717)" and "London Album (ADX13715)", which programmed the unknown trio sonatas of the 18th century by region. The latest album is a collection of music from "Berlin" in the middle of the 18th century. We will not focus on Friedrich II (the Great) or Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, who played the leading role in the music of Berlin at that time, but rather on Georg Benda, the brother of Franz Benda, who served Friedrich the Great the Great the longest, Johann Godlieb Graun, who was the Konzertmeister of the court orchestra after Franz Benda, Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia, the sister of the Great, Princess Anna's court music director and teacher, Johann Philipp Kilnenberg, and the youngest son of the King. Johann Godlieb Graun, who was the Konzertmeister of the court orchestra after Franz Benda; Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia, the Great King's sister; Johann Philipp Kilnberger, the court music director & teacher of Princess Anna; Johann Abraham Peter Schulz, one of Kilnberger's pupils; the double bass player Johann Gottlieb Janitsch, and others, are spun together in a sincere performance by Plamzoller and Ensemble Diderot. The booklet includes an interesting discussion by Plamzoller himself about the musical world of Berlin at that time, with its differences from Dresden, such as the thriving multisensorial style, its many excellent teachers, including the Graun and Benda brothers, and its golden age for chamber music (in Japanese, English, The booklet also includes interesting insights by Plamzoller himself (in Japanese, English, French, and German) about the musical world of Berlin at the time, with its differences from Dresden.
