This is the world premiere recording of chamber music from the court of Dresden, Saxony. The world premiere recording of the "Trio Sonatas" by Fuchs, who was court music director of Holy Roman Emperor Karl VI and music director of St. Stephen's Cathedral, Tuma, a pupil of Fuchs who served as music director of Empress Karl VI, and Fasch, who played in the court orchestra of Bayreuth and was appointed court music director of Zerbst, A feast of "Trio Sonatas" by Handel and Telemann.The Trio Sonatas, which fascinated royalty and aristocrats and graced the court of the time, will be performed by the brilliant and undone young period ensemble led by Plamzoller. Johannes Plamzoller presides over his own period orchestra, the International Baroque Players, and is a member of his teacher Rachel Podger's Brecon Baroque. He is a Baroque violinist of the new generation, playing the famous Pietro Giacomo Rogelli instrument made in 1713, which he inherited from Reinhard Goebel. Tokyo M-Plus
