Two of Obrecht's most important works, "Missa Scaramella" and "Mother and Daughter of the Father/Holy Mother of God," left unfinished, have been reconstructed, and with the perfect voices of the Banschois Consort, which has few equals in this repertoire, and the skill of Andrew Kirkman, the music has been lost to posterity.
