Shagaeg Nosraty (Shahayev Nosraty), a young female pianist born in Bochum, Germany in 1989, has received international acclaim for her interpretation of Bach, including second prize at the International Bach Competition 2014 in Leipzig, and has performed with András Schiff and many others. Avi label has released Bach's "Six Partitas" (8553491), "The Mean Clavier Volume 1" (8553509), and Alkan's superb album (8553104), and now she takes on a new challenge with a collection of Haydn's piano works. Joseph Haydn was one of the pioneers of the piano sonata form that was developing in the early 18th century, and composed more than 50 piano sonatas over a period of 50 years.
