After more than 10 years of silence since his debut on Chain Reaction, a Basic Channel label, in 2001, he has been consistently releasing music on the DDS label in Manchester, UK since 2014, attracting not only the club audience of dub techno/minimal, etc., but also the world's Shinichi Atobe is an electronic musician who has been consistently releasing music on the DDS label in Manchester, UK since 2014. SynthScale A2.Disappear | AA.Between Thoughts" is the second release from his private label [Plastic & Sounds], which was started suddenly in July this year, and will be released on 12inch (45RPM/Limited Press) vinyl and Between Thoughts" will be released on 12inch (45RPM/Limited Press) vinyl and digital formats. SynthScale" is an elevation synth dub-tech that intertwines ascending and descending synths with a sense of speed and rhythm that gives a glimpse of progressive rock, followed by "Disappear," a piano that suddenly appears over the floating upper notes, and drums that are inserted in between the surging rhythm. The solid drum beat swells in between the surging rhythms.The 10-minute-plus epic "Between Thoughts" is a long-form minimal house piece in the Shinichi Atobe style, with a thick bass line as the main body, permeated with voice samples that develop in a soft and gentle way. Mastering/record cutting was done by Rashad Becker of Berlin, who has worked on many of Shinichi Atobe's productions.
