The accordion and Serge's piano create an exquisite sound. A lovely, peaceful, yet heartwarming work of art. This is another stylish project. Please take a look at the jacket design of the two new albums by Serge Delat, one of Sawano's signature pianists. A Parisian street corner, a café in the afternoon and a bistro in the evening. A plate indicating the name of the street reads "AVENUE de ATELIER SAWANO. It is, in other words, "Serge by day and by night" by Sawano Kobo (oops... I'm not trying to be a pacifier). The music on the CD may be what is played on the small stages of the two stores. The "Noon" CD is composed of a piano trio with an accordion. When I think of music suited to the streets of Paris, I can't help but think of the sound of an accordion. In fact, accordion players are still a common sight along the banks of the Seine on holidays. Perhaps the most suitable accompaniment to an old chanson is its sepia-toned sound. The protagonist here, therefore, is rather Alain Bruel, the accordionist.Serge supports his nostalgic world with his usual light touch. His choice of music was also typical of Serge, and he chose well-known standards with good taste. Most of these songs are from the U.S., but strangely enough, when they play them, they sound exactly like "the sound of Paris. The essence of chanson begins to smell and drift in the air. If you could dine on a sunny Sunday afternoon with this CD as background music... well, of course, it would be better with someone special if possible... you would be in a very happy mood, wouldn't you?
