Soul-pop singer-songwriter Nectar Woode from the UK EP "it's like I never left" (analog), mixing elements of soul, jazz and R&B London-based soul-pop singer-songwriter Nectar Woode was born in Milton Keynes, England in 1999. Born in Milton Keynes, England in 1999, he was raised by a Ghanaian father and an English mother, and was surrounded by music and art from an early age. He studied music at the London Conservatorium of Music and began his music career through open mics, improvisation sessions, and band activities while still in school, gaining attention with his collaboration with Mom Tudie, "Fear Leads Us On," and independently releasing his debut solo single "For the Best" in 2022 and In 2023, he signed with Communion Records. Since then, he has released singles such as "Good Vibrations" and "God Talks Back," which have rapidly garnered attention with over 1 million plays on Spotify.Influenced by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Amy Winehouse, and Duffy, she has developed a unique style that also incorporates the rhythms and emotional expression of West African music. His current EP, "it's like I never left," celebrates his family and dual roots. Production is by Jordan Rakai, with visual creative direction by Marco Gray (Little Sims, Michael Kiwanuka, Ezra Collective).
