Helldorado" is the final chapter in the trilogy of death and western metal band SPIRITWORLD. Spiritworld, from Las Vegas, Nevada, was acclaimed in the thrash metal community for their first album "PaganRhythms" (2021), a fusion of thrash metal/death metal, western, and Native American music. The following year, their second album, "DEATHWESTERN," also featured a ferocious and brutal post-apocalyptic horror-western metal style, and was a miraculous fusion of country, thrash metal, and hardcore. The final chapter of the trilogy is "Helldorado," which Stu Folsom describes as "a different album from the last two," as the band prepares to play live in 2024. The swinging opener (1), "Abilene Grime", will blow your mind, followed immediately by a riff comparable to SLAYER's (2), "No Vacancy in Heaven", (4), "Bird Song of Death", where you feel an unexpected fresh breeze (5), and (6), "Helldorado", where the horn section creates a majestic atmosphere (7). Zach Blair (BLACK BRAID) and Zach Blair (RISE AGAINST) join in for the memorable (7) "Oblivion" and the final track (10) "Annihilism," which is a huge, blood-boiling riff that Spirit World has presented in the last two albums. The album is a miraculous balance of the Americana world expressed through eerie harmonies, while also being full of the huge, blood-boiling riffs that World Spirit has presented in the past two albums. The last two albums were linked to the book "Godlessness" by Stu Folsom, who is also a writer. But "Helldorado" goes beyond the pages of that book, telling the story of what happens next. Godlessness" ends with the promise of a continuation in which all of the surviving characters arrive near a Mexican villa rumored to have a gateway to hell. Helldorado will be the first opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of some of what will unfold in the next novel I'm working on.The novel tells the story of these characters and what happens to the villa." The history of Spirit World has just begun, and the story by Stu Folsom will continue. I'm a big believer in following your instincts and sticking to your own style. I only want to do what makes sense to me in life. I don't care if that makes me an outlier or a heretic. It's more beautiful to be authentic. Frederic Leclercq (KREATOR) is also a guest on this album.
