The album's lead piece, "Limina Luminis," is a captivating work by Olivia Belli, commissioned for the 2023 BBC Proms and premiered in Lapwood's first solo recital. Since its premiere, she has performed it in almost every concert she has given. Fire Dove" was the result of an overnight recording session at Nidaros Cathedral, a magnificent 11th century Gothic building in Trondheim, Norway. Here, Louis Vierne's "Water Nymphs" coexists with Robbie Williams' "Angels" and Maurice Duruflé's "Prelude and Fugue in the Name of Alain, Op. 7" with Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love," clearly demonstrating Lapwood's free attitude toward music.
