In 2014, at the age of 15, Declan self-released the single "Brazil," which became an internet sensation for its overwhelming sense of freshness and lyrics criticizing FIFA's corruption and that year's soccer World Cup. In 2017, he made his debut in Japan with the album "What Do You Think About the Car? In 2017, the band made its Japan debut with the album "What Do You Think About the Car? Their second album "Zeros," released in 2020, debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart.The single "Nothing Works," released prior to the release of the band's third album in three and a half years, "What Happened to the Beach? It expresses how happy I am to be fulfilled without lying to myself," he says. Regarding the new album, he says, "I've put a lot of pressure on myself in the past. I've put a lot of pressure on myself in the past, but this is the result of putting those burdens down and focusing on just having fun. Expectations are high for Declan's new album as he heads into a new stage of his career.
