Alessandro Scarlatti (1660-1725), and recorded a wide variety of musical works: sinfonias, concertos, sonatas, serenatas, and cantatas. The 29 Partitas on Folia's Aria, newly arranged for soprano recorder, obbligato cello, harpsichord and guitar, demonstrate an elegant, vocal, and emotional sonority and a rich harmonic vocabulary.
