The long-awaited '23 new album by Silvia Perez Cruz, one of the leading divas of contemporary Catalan music, is now available. The title is "Toda la vida, un dia. The title of the album is "Toda la vida, un dia," which translates as "All of life, one day" and is a work that deals with a certain stage or cycle of life. The album is also divided into five parts. The title track, which was released earlier, is dedicated to Liliana Herrero, a great folklore singer representing Argentina. Silvia wrote the song the night before she went to Buenos Aires to meet Liliana for the first time. Pedro Rossi arranged the guitar for the song, which features Liliana. The recording was made at the chapel of the Mutte Cultural Institute in Pontos with a choir. As befits the solemnity of the music, the music video was shot in Iceland. The music expresses the loneliness that the album talks about with beautiful and overwhelming scenery. Other songs were also recorded in various cities around the world, including Havana, Coatepec, Barcelona, and Madrid.In addition to the aforementioned Liliana Herrero, the group includes flamenco greats Pepe Javituela, Carmen Linares, Diego Carrasco, and Carles Benavento, as well as guest artists Natalia Lafolcade, Salvador Sobral, Juan Quintero, Maro, and Rita Pires.
