WARDRUNA is a Nordic folk/dark ambient band formed in Bergen, Norway in 2003. This 2-CD set, "Kvitravn - First Flight of the White Raven", is the latest album "Kvitravn" released in January 2021, with the addition of a virtual live performance held on March 26, 2021, where you can experience their outstanding musicality. album. The special setlist, which includes four songs selected from their past discography as well as from "Kvitravn," is a rare item that allows you to enjoy WARDRUNA's latest performance.
The pandemic made it difficult to perform to a paying audience, so it was extremely important to capture the energy of the show. What you hear is what we played then, in that space. We didn't do any re-recordings, auto-tuning, or any other kind of reworking.The setlist was carefully assembled as in a regular concert, choosing from all the albums and including songs from the new album, which was being performed for the first time. On the day of recording, we all stood on the same stage for the first time in over a year.
