The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts", which can be called the greatest live performance in the history of Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band's heyday, will be released. The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts" is a live performance of Bruce Springsteen at a benefit concert for MUSE (Musicians United for Safe Energy), a group of anti-nuclear musicians who advocate the dangers of nuclear power, held September 19-23, 1979, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The complete 90-minute performance of 13 songs, including 10 previously unreleased songs such as "Stay" with Jackson Browne & Tom Petty, will be released as the first complete recording and video of the two performances by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band on September 21 and 22. The complete set will be released as a "complete edition" of the album. Longtime Springsteen collaborator Tom Jimeney restored the original 16mm film, and Bob Clearmountain remixed the audio from the original master tapes. Very little footage from this era has survived, and this is a historic film that brings back to life the best moments of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in their heyday at this legendary concert in the highest quality possible. This concert took place in 1978, when the band was in the midst of recording their next album "The River" after finishing the tour for "The City That Barked in the Dark".Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band's live shows were always marathon concerts that lasted over three hours and were called "the greatest rock 'n' roll show in the world. The No Nukes Concert 1979 is a 90-minute show that is a storm of highlights. The highlights included "The River" and "My Darling Shelley," which had not yet been released at the time, the live classics "Badlands," "Runaway Without Tomorrow," and "Thunder Road of Tears," as well as Buddy Holly's "Rave On" and a cover of Maurice Williams' "Stay" featuring guests Jackson Browne, Tom Petty, and Rosemary Butler. The "Detroit Medley," the quintessence of their live show, including skits, and "Quarter to Three," which featured the famous "I'm Just a Prisoner of Rock 'n' Roll" cry. On the eve of his 30th birthday, 29-year-old Bruce Springsteen's youthful and energetic performance, "The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Moment" with the E Street Band can be relived.
