Bernd "Bernemann" Kost and Markus "Makka" Freiwald, formerly of SODOM, have formed a new five-piece band = Bonded. BONDED is a five-piece band led by Bernd "Bernemann" Kost and Markus "Makka" Freiwald, who together with KREATOR and DESTRUCTION are known as the "Three Crows of German Thrash", SODOM. will be released in January 2020. The band is flanked by second guitarist Chris Tsitsis (ex-SUICIDAL ANGELS), vocalist Ingo Bajonczak (ASSASSIN), and bassist Marc Hauschild. BONDED's debut album is a simple yet powerful piece of music that leaves a strong impact. The rhythm section supports the sharp, raucous guitars with a solid groove, and Ingo's ability to skillfully handle aggressive screams and melodic vocal lines is exactly what all metalheads are looking for.The majestic opening track "Godgiven," "The Rattle & The Snake," whose blues harp tone creates an unsettling world, and "Je Suis Charlie," which received high praise as soon as its music video was released, appeal to groove metal fans as well. The Rattle & The Snake," which creates the world. The Outer Rim," a power ballad that closes the album, is a standout among the ferocious songs that come one after another, and is a fine example of BONDED's unfathomable potential. The powerful sound production is by Cornelius Rambadt, who is also well known for his work with SODOM. Artwork is by Bjorn GooBes (Aborted, The Crown, Carnal Forge). In addition, OVERKILL frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth adds a guest appearance on the title track, "Rest In Violence." BONDED has created something that cannot be pigeonholed into the "German thrash" category, and we will be keeping an eye on what they have in store for us in the coming months.
