Glasgow's leading band Belle and Sebastian will release "What To Look For In Summer," a 2-CD live bests album featuring the best takes from their 2019 world tour! The band, whose recording plans for a new record as well as a live show in 2020 were scrapped due to COVID-19, embarked on this project as a response to the fans' long-awaited release of a live album. By listening back to all the takes from 2019, including the three performances at the controversial Boaty Weekender boat concert, and taking inspiration from live albums such as Jesus' "Yessongs" and Thin Lizzy's "Live and Dangerous," the band has selected the best recordings from various live shows and put them together into a two-part album. This album has been compiled into a 2-CD volume by selecting the best recordings from theThe members say that the selection of songs was almost random, but the result is a compilation that juxtaposes early favorites such as "My Wandering Days Are Over," "Seeing Other People," and "The Boy With The Arab Strap," along with the more recent "Poor Boy" and "We Were Beautiful," as the best of their career.
