Description:
Lacuna Coil's one-night-only 20th anniversary show, a monumental work featuring over two hours of live performances, rare videos, and interviews. Formed in Milan, Italy in 1996, the gothic metal group made its debut in 1998 with the mini-album "Lacuna Coil". The band has grown into a world-class band thanks to the strong twin vocals of female vocalists Cristina Scavia and Andrea Ferro, and the addition of elements of Nu-metal and Modern Metal, which were trendy in the early 2000s, to their Gothic Metal-based style. The band has established itself as one of the most famous Italian metal bands in the United States. This live album (2CD+DVD) is a 120-minute audio and video recording of their one-time-only anniversary performance at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on January 19, 2018. The band generously performs songs from their early works as well as the rare song "TheArmy Inside," which they have never played before.The 20th anniversary celebrations are also fitting, as "Falling" and "Wide Awake" feature a performance by Christina and Incandescence, a British circus troupe, dressed in lavish costumes. The concert also includes a sentimental scene that confronts the painful past, such as the dedication of "One Cold Day" to former band member Claudio Leo, who passed away in 2013, capturing a never-to-be-repeated spectacle of the band and fans enjoying the legacy they have created over the past 20 years together.
