Krichel depicts various forms of "love" and "longing" with his beautiful pianism. Alexander Krichel is a gifted German pianist who, at the age of 22, signed an exclusive contract with Sony Classical and made concerto debuts with a number of prestigious German orchestras, while also studying mathematics. He has recorded four albums of Chopin, Ravel, Russian, and German works. This time, following his first album "Spring Night - Mendelssohn, Schubert, Liszt, Schumann," Klitschel has recorded a remarkable disc of works with a strong German literary theme in one disc. Beethoven's "Faraway Lover" is said to be a work from the period when Beethoven was in a slump after the "Masterpiece Forest" period in his middle period, but just before entering the latter period, his compositional skills were skilled and fully integrated with his compositional techniques. This is a performance of the version that Liszt arranged for solo piano. Schumann's Symphonic Exercises expresses that the piano is not only an instrument but also a rich sounding instrument through the brilliant development of themes and transformations.It is composed in the form of five posthumous variations interspersed after Exercise No. 7. The interplay of "sorrow" and "longing" in "Love's Sorrow" and "Love's Joy" by Kreisler (arranged by Rachmaninoff), and the grandiose emotions in "Isolde's Love Death" by Wagner=Liszt, build upon the rich performance experience and once again reveal Krichel's rich musicality in an even more profound way.
