This 7-track debut EP was released in 2017 and features their original songs as well as "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" (Ed Sheeran), "Somebody Told Me" (The Killers), "Let's Get It Started" (Black Eyed Peas), and more. and other cover songs with their own captivating arrangements.In particular, their cover of the Four Seasons' "Beggin" is currently (as of June 2021) soaring the streaming charts in various countries! The seven songs are a hot breath of fresh air on the eve of their breakthrough. Maneskin is a four-piece band from Rome, Italy, consisting of 20-22 year old Damiano David (vo), Victoria De Angelis (b), Thomas Rudge (g), and Ethan Torchio (ds). The name of the band, which means "moonlight" in Danish, was suggested by Victoria, who is half Danish, to the band members, and out of several words, "maneskin" was the one that instantly attracted them. The members have known each other since early elementary school and started playing music together in 2015. Their sound is characterized by a diverse blend of rock, rap, hip-hop, reggae, and funk, all held together by the soulful voice of frontman Damiano. Also eye-catching are the glamorous rock-star-like stage costumes. With no new rock stars in sight, this band is a must-see, as they have begun to take the world by storm with their rock revival.
