Now, three of his classic albums released between 1978 and 1980 are being reissued in analog format, mastered at half speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. By cutting the master recordings while playing them back at half speed, it is possible to control high-frequency bands and other aspects of the recordings to create the ideal sound for the analog recordings.
