Her third studio album, and first since 2006's "Close To A Miracle," is titled "Colour My Life.Heather has worked with producer Rupert Christie, known for his work with U2, Coldplay, Echo & The Bunnymen, Lou Reed, and the film Mamma Mia! and with the London Metropolitan Orchestra, Heather has created a colorful album of orchestral versions of her Top 10 hits, new songs, and duet numbers. Heather performs orchestral versions of her No. 2 UK hit "Moving On Up" from her M People days, as well as her Top 10 UK singles "Search For The Hero," "One Night In Heaven" and "How Can I Love You More. The originals are all up-tempo dance-pop tracks, but Heather's soulful vocals are retained, while the string-based arrangements show a new side to the songs.Heather's hit single from her solo career, "Proud," which was used as the theme song for the Oprah Winfrey Show, featured on the popular drama series "Queer As Folk," and was an empowering song in the UK at the time, is also included in this album with a new arrangement.
