He will become Chief Conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in 2015, the orchestra's 250th anniversary year. This is the second volume following the first volume (CHSA5142), which was highly acclaimed by Record Art, BBC Music Magazine, International Record Review, and others. It includes the rhapsodic poem "Taras Bouliba" based on Nikolai Gogol's novel "Taras Bouliba," the unfinished violin concerto "The Soul Wanderer" with James Ehnes as soloist, and the unfinished symphonic work "The Danube River.
