The band's "blue rock" sound, which captures the overflowing emotions of their almost overindulgent music with catchy melodies and guitars, has been resonating with listeners around the world, especially those in their own age group.The band's latest album, "MODEL," was produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten), a longtime collaborator for the Wallows who also produced their first album, "NOTHING HAPPENS. The band told Rolling Stone magazine that the new album is "very frank and authentic" and also "imperfectly complete. You can hear what they mean by the preceding single, "Your Apartment," which they co-wrote with Nate Marcello, known for his work with Andre 3000 and Shawn Mendes. Commenting on the release of this single, with its frenetic sound and introspective lyrics, the guys from Wallows said. We're very excited to be releasing our first new music in almost two years, and we're very excited about it. I've never had such a long period of quiet, so it feels good to finally be back.This is the first song on the new album with lyrics that came together a long time ago, so I thought it was only right that people hear it first."
