Live performance of Beethoven's complete piano concertos by a star young pianistCelebrating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth in 2020, Canadian star pianist Jan Lisiecki, born in 1995, performed the complete piano concertos with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. The performance was held at the Konzerthaus Berlin. The performance took place at the Konzerthaus Berlin to great acclaim. Concerto No. 4 was performed by Lisiecki in Bologna in 2013 with the Mozart Orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbado as a substitute for Martha Argerich on short notice, and played a major role in his performance career.
