And Cardinals Music, an a capella group founded in 1989 and known for its extensive study and practice of the English Renaissance. This is a collection of church music by Thomas Tallis (c.1505-1585), whose first release (CDA 67548) won the Gramophone Prize for Old Music. Cecilia Osmond, Patrick Kreig, Robert Rice, Robert MacDonald, and other members of the Tallis Scholars and other world-class a capella groups and choirs sing Thomas Tallis's masterpiece "Jeremiah's Lament".
