Enjoy the clear and beautiful harmonies of Strauss, their specialty ● Waltzes and polkas by the Strauss family are the repertoire in which the Vienna Boys Choir excels, and can be said to be their musical calling card. They have been singing these works since the early 1920s. They have sung these works since the early 1920s and have participated in the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert six times, where many of Strauss' works are performed. ● The first three songs recorded for this album, "Sailor's Polka," "Bandit's Gallop," and "Forever," which is also the title of this album, were written for Viennese boys. ● As of 2018, the 100 members of the troupe, ranging in age from 9 to 14, are divided into four groups, each touring for 9 to 11 weeks. All together, they perform approximately 300 concerts a year. Universal Music/IMS
