Alessandro Alessandroni is best known for his whistling in Ennio Morricone's soundtrack to Sergio Leone's westerns. He is a multi-instrumentalist, but his vast and overwhelming discography reveals him to be a brilliant man. I was happy to see him comment on Giuseppe Tornatore's "Morricone: The Musician That Cinema Fell in Love With". This album is considered to be Alessandroni's memorable first solo work, a very rare disc released on GrandPrix in 1969. As the title suggests, it is a cutting-edge sound that emphasizes rhythm and features a combination of different instrument groups and an experimental approach, reminiscent of suspense thrillers and Jarreau-type music.
