To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Queen's formation, the long-unavailable "Limited Editions" of all 15 original albums will be reissued in Japan only! Queen II" (original release year: 1974): As the subtitle "Revelation of White Queen and Black Queen" appeared as the subtitle of the former Japanese LP, "Side White" contains mainly Brian May's works and "Side Black" contains Freddie Mercury's songs. This is a conceptual second album consisting of "Side White," which mainly contains Brian May's work, and "Side Black," which is a collection of Freddie Mercury's compositions. The dramatic sound that unfolds amidst the contrast between black and white is of a high quality that can be likened to progressive rock. The cover photo, now an icon of Queen, was taken by Mick Rock and was inspired by a still from the movie "Shanghai Express" starring Marlene Dietrich.The bonus EP includes five songs from the 1973 and 1974 BBC sessions, as well as a live performance at the Hammersmith Odeon in December 1975, an instrumental mix of "Seven Shining Seas," and the single B-side "See What a Fool I've Been."
