A classic revival! A live recording of Quicken's motets made by La Petite Band and Quicken at St. Carolus Borromeus Church in Antwerp, Belgium in 1992. It has been out of print for a long time, but is now being reissued with a new binding. The church where the recording was made is said to be a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, built by the workshop of the painter Rubens. The composition is now normally performed, with one instrumental part and one singing part, and a bass continuo. La Petite Band and Kuiken have been performing in this style since the early 1990s, and when it was first released, audiences were captivated by its fresh sound. King International
