JOE CLAUSSELL's SACRED RHYTHM affiliate, Atypical Dopeness, is releasing a compilation under the W name !!!! Sal Carmona is a promoter/producer who has been going to legendary parties and clubs such as DAVID MANCUSO's THE LOFT, LARRY LEVAN's PARADISE GARAGE, and STUDIO 54, and has connected the spirit of NYC to the next generation.He quickly became one of the main promoters of the scene with regular and successful parties at venues such as The Copacabana, The Palladium, and Red Parrot. After a brief hiatus from the club music scene, he returned in 2012. After several years, the idea for this album came from a conversation with JOVONN, and it was finally completed and released in 2024. This first release is a serious selection of his favorite DJ/producers, house legends who need no explanation, and new talents who will lead the next NYC scene, including TIMMY, JOE, RON, JOVOON, and VICK. The album features deep house music by TIMMY, JOE, RON, JOVOON, VICK, and others, all of whom have demonstrated a well-honed sense for the genre. Newcomers such as MARK FRANCIS, CONWAY KASEY, and DJ PUNCH also offer dope sounds that are as good as their veteran counterparts.
