Construction of the Cathedral Duomo, the symbol of Milan, began in 1386 and was completed by Napoleon's order some 500 years later. Its magnificent architecture is 158 m long, 93 m wide, and 108 m high, with an interior area of 11,700 square meters. Known as one of the largest Gothic buildings in the world, its 135 spires and the beauty of its fusion with 2,245 sculptures are truly breathtaking. In this performance, visitors will be able to enjoy the latest in video technology, which uses video mapping (=projection mapping) on traditional architecture, stimulating lighting and color effects, and overturning the conventional wisdom of opera video staging. Rossini's opera \"Moset\" is a revision of the composer's own opera \"Moset in Egypt. The miracles performed by Mosé appear in each act and enhance the opera as a showpiece.The spectacle of the Jews fleeing from Egypt, their path being blocked by the Red Sea, and the Egyptian soldiers sinking into the Red Sea at the end of the fourth act, are all part of the spectacle, which is made into a grand religious drama through sophisticated visual effects.
