Prolific dark sympho-folk band from Norway, another quality vintage-oriented sympho album from '24, produced after a member change! The band features the Momrak brothers Benedikt (b/vo/per/glockenspiel) & Kristoffer (flu/vo/per/electronics) as "Benediktator" and Martin "HlewagastiR" as "Krizla", who also plays in WOBBLER. HlewagastiR" Nordrum Kneppen(drs/per), and Andreas Prestmo(vo) of WOBBLER, formed the band in the mid 90's. The band developed and was born after LES FLEURS DE MAL. The Norwegian progressive/dark symphonic rock band, TUSMORKE, released their '24 album in Japan! The band has changed members since the last album "HESTEHOVEN", Haugebonden Gode Gullstein(key) and Martin Nordrum Kneppen who had been supporting the band since their debut left the band after the last album. Kusken (drs), who has now left the band.This album contains material recorded between 2022 and 2023, and was actually prepared before the release of the previous album. The album is largely in the style of the previous album, which returned to the heavy symphonic rock route after a long absence, with a vintage-oriented sound that straddles the line from symphonic to psychedelic folk, featuring a flute with a cool Scandinavian folklore/traditional feel and primitive analog synths throughout. The sound of vintage-oriented music that straddles the line from symphonic to psychedelic folk is unique to the band. The deep emotion/illusion and the decadence hidden behind the charming arrangements are perfectly matched on this album.
