His debut single "Move It" was released in August 1958, more than 60 years ago. In other words, this is the "history of British rock 'n' roll. This year, at the age of 82, Cliff is releasing his first Christmas album in nearly 20 years, "Christmas With Cliff," and at over 80 years of age, he is still going strong with his newfound passion for the holiday season. With a newfound passion, Cliff has arranged Christmas classics such as "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "Sleigh Ride," "Joy to the World," and "When a Child Born" in an unmistakably original style. I've always loved recording in the studio, ever since Studio 2 at Abbey Road in 1958. This album was recorded in Miami, Florida, 4,427 miles away from Abbey Road, and I felt like I was in my own world again. This time I had the help of producers Sam Hollander and Chris Walden, who guided me through the well-known Christmas songs and set me free to sing my own way. They took a different approach to the songs I asked them to produce and gave this album the dynamic I wanted. This album is not just about me.It belongs to all of us who worked on it, and I hope it will add something special to your Christmas season. This is Cliff's first Christmas album in 19 years, since the release of "Cliff at Christmas" in 2003. Three of his original Christmas songs, "Mistletoe And Wine" (1988), "Saviour's Day" (1990), and "The Millennium Prayer" (1999-2000), reached No. 1 over three decades. Christmas With Cliff was recorded at Criteria Studios in Every Dream in 2022 and was produced by Sam Hollander and Chris Walden.
