Since their debut in 1968, rock giants Deep Purple have overcome numerous crises to remain at the top of the HM/HR scene and have influenced numerous bands. In their more than half-century of activity, three different lineups of the band's valuable live archives have been remastered and are now finally being released! Steve Morse, who has played with Dixie Dregs and Kansas and is always ranked high in Guitar Player magazine's popularity poll, officially joined the band as Ritchie Blackmore's successor. In February 1996, the album "Purpendicular" was released and a world tour with the new lineup began. The June 3, 1996 performance in Poland was recorded and broadcast for a European TV program. This album is a live album recorded during the broadcast, and includes the encore and the complete concert. The band was reborn with Steve Morse, a different direction from Ritchie Blackmore and a super-technical guitarist, making the band even more powerful.The performance, featuring Steve Morse's guitar, is wonderful!
