Alpha's Bach is a collection of unique pieces by Café Zimmermann, a collection of unique selections that brings us closer to the true face of the composer! Since its inception, Café Zimmermann has been one of its signature ensembles, dazzling the world with its unique and exuberant interpretation of Bach. Ten years after the completion of the "Concertos for Various Instruments" series, which consists of six titles, they propose "private music books" as a new Bach performance. The custom of copying music by hand was still alive and well in the 18th century, when the music publishing industry began to flourish, and it is thought that when people enjoyed music among their private friends, they also wrote down scores and arranged them into pieces that they could play. In addition to a number of interesting tracks of instrumental cantatas and arias rearranged for chamber music, the program includes a piece written by Bach's second son when he became active at the court of Frederick the Great, and "Musical Tributes" written for the Great King, allowing us to relive the 18th century daily life that echoed through the world around Bach in his later years.
