He first collaborated with the New Japan Philharmonic in 1982. After several guest appearances, there was a hiatus in their collaboration, but the digital live recordings from their two recent concerts—marking their long-awaited reunion—are finally available! These performances received exceptionally high praise, so much so that the maestro himself readily approved their release. It’s surprising to note that the 2018 concert was actually a substitute performance for Elischka. *The Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian* has never been recorded in a studio. Featuring the slower tempos characteristic of Plasson’s recent work, this collection of masterful performances—more refined yet bold than his EMI-era recordings—is brimming with artistic sensibility. His rendition of *Fantaisie* is a rousing performance, full of energy and intense foot-stomping.\nTobu Shoji Co., Ltd.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53249272381729,"sku":"4560250648972","price":993.0,"currency_code":"TWD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4560250648972_b0ccc60b-b1a6-438e-bb9d-70f51613c218.jpg?v=1786601363","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/zh-tw\/products\/4560250648972","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
