Adrian Lenker, the red-hot voice of US indie treasures Big Thief, is releasing two solo albums, "songs" and "instruments," simultaneously, from the Grammy-nominated US indie treasure Big Thief, who released two masterpieces in 2019, "U.F.O.F." and "Two Hands. The band's voice, Adrian Lenker, has released two solo albums, "songs" and "instrumentals", simultaneously. The album was recorded in early March 2020 when Big Thief's world tour was unavoidably interrupted by the Corona disaster, and was recorded entirely on analog equipment without any digital processing while Adrian was living in seclusion in a cabin in Massachusetts.The album "songs" is an album of songs with environmental sounds such as rain and chirping birds in the mountains gently standing over her acoustic guitar playing, and it includes arpeggios like rustling trees in "anything," "forwards beckon rebound" with its mysterious beginning, the ending of "my angel" that is too abrupt, and "come," which is overwhelming with emotion. The raw, lo-fi production of "come" and the ending of "my angel," which is too sudden and abrupt, and "come," which is overwhelming with emotion, are just a few of the 13 songs that capture her charms in an even more naked manner.
