He was also highly regarded as a composer, and at the time he was even more popular than Beethoven and was highly regarded as \"one of the most important composers of the period. The \"Concerto Symphony\" on this album seems to have been composed for a tour, and is considered to be a \"calling card\" work to show off his own virtuosity.
