This is "CONFUSION", released in August 1983, which was a rare New York recording for them! ◆New Order, one of the most important groups representing the British music scene in the 80's.The band introduced the sound of electro dance-pop and presented their "new aesthetic" to the scene with their beautiful, flowing synthesizer-centered sound, and released "POWER CORRUPTION & LIES" in 1983. In conjunction with the release of the "DEFINITIVE EDITION," four 12-inch analog releases from FACTORY RECORDS between 1983 and 1984 will be reissued! The four titles released this time are all songs that were not included on the albums, but are very popular. All of them are 180 gram weight analog releases with the latest remastered sound sources. CONFUSION. Following the huge success of the single "Blue Monday" and the release of the album "Power Corruption & Lies", "Confusion" was released in August 1983 on FACTORY RECORDS.Produced by New York DJ Arthur Baker, the single was a rare New York recording for the band, and presented a more danceable electro sound, reaching #12 on the UK Singles Chart and #5 on the UK Dance/Disco Chart. It reached #12 in the UK Singles Chart and #5 in the UK Dance/Disco Chart. The coupling features three remixes of "Confusion.
