New Romantic Concerto Series! World Premiere Recording of Young Moszkowski's Concerto! Hyperion's extremely popular "Romantic Piano Concerto Series (RPCS)" has been discovering and reviving unknown piano concertos of the Romantic era. The 68th release in this series features a new piano concerto by Maurits Moszkowski (1854-1925), which was also featured in the first commemorative release of the series (CDA 66452). Moszkowski's best known piano concerto was the Piano Concerto in E major, Op. 59, but here we have the Piano Concerto in B minor, Op. 3, a work from his youth that was discovered in 2008 and revived by Rudmil Angelov in 2014. The world premiere recording of "Russian Rhapsody" by Adolf Schulz-Evler, a Polish composer known for his virtuoso repertoire, is also included. Tokyo M-Plus
