He started his musical career as a trumpet player in the 60's and became a guitarist in 1967, and while working as an artist, he has intermittently released unique works as a solo artist and as a member of GAM with Axel Struck and Michael Leske. Günter Schickert, a German avant-garde musician who boasts a cult following for his unique experimental/minimalist sound, independently released his debut solo album in 1974 on limited edition red colored vinyl from Bureau B in Germany to commemorate its 50th anniversary in '24! reissued on red color vinyl by Bureau B in Germany in '24 to commemorate its 50th anniversary!
